AI Economy Co., Ltd. ("we") operates Tokyo Neighborhood (https://tokyo-neighborhood.com, the "Site") and we take the protection of your personal information seriously. We comply with Japan's Act on the Protection of Personal Information (APPI), the EU GDPR, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and other applicable laws.
1. Personal Information We Collect
We collect the following: · Name, shipping address, phone number (entered on our payment provider's checkout form) · Email address (order confirmation, revival votes, Custom Bag requests) · Order history and shipment status · Inquiry content · Language preference (locale) stored in a cookie · Access logs (IP address, user agent, referrer, timestamp) We do NOT collect or store credit card details on our servers. All card data is processed entirely by a PCI-DSS compliant payment provider.
2. Purposes of Use
Your information is used only to: · Process orders, fulfillment, and post-sale support · Respond to inquiries · Manage purchase records and verify identity in case of disputes · Improve the Site through aggregated/anonymized analytics · Address terms-of-service violations and fraud prevention · Comply with applicable laws
3. Third-Party Disclosure
We share personal information only with the following service providers, strictly for the purposes shown: · A payment provider (PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant — payment processing) Card data never passes through our servers; it is handled on the provider's systems. · An overseas (US) print-on-demand and international shipping partner We share name, shipping address, and product info for fulfillment. · Cloud infrastructure providers (US — hosting, data storage, DNS) Only as necessary to operate the Site. · Cloud AI services for image generation (US) Neighborhood / date / text inputs are sent for design generation. We have data-protection agreements in place with each processor and supervise them appropriately; specific processor names can be provided individually where required by law. We may also disclose information if required by court order or lawful request from public authorities.
4. International Transfers
Some of our processors (print-on-demand/shipping, cloud infrastructure, and AI image generation providers) are based in the United States. Your personal information may be transferred there. All such transfers are governed by Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or equivalent safeguards.
5. Use of Cookies
· `locale` (necessary): switches display language (ja/en). 1-year expiry. · Payment session cookies: set directly by our payment provider on its checkout page, cleared after checkout. · Analytics cookies: not currently used. We will notify you here if introduced. You may disable cookies in your browser, but some features (purchase) will not work.
6. Your Rights
You may request to access, correct, add, delete, suspend use of, or stop sharing your personal information. Email us at the contact below. We will verify your identity and respond within a reasonable period.
7. Retention
Order records: up to 7 years (as required by Japanese commercial and tax law). Inquiry content: up to 3 years after resolution. Revival votes: until the design is revived or 2 years passes.
8. Security
· All communication is encrypted via TLS 1.3 / HTTPS. · Database: managed database on encrypted volumes. · Images: encrypted cloud object storage. · Payment data: never touches our servers — handled exclusively by a PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant payment provider.
9. Children
We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. Minors should use the Site only with the consent of a parent or guardian.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy to reflect legal or service changes. Material changes will be announced on the Site.
